I was terrified to place my children in daycare after their father passed away...I searched all over the east end to find an affordable place, with openings, that could accept both of my children, that wasn't other side of town, AND would take good care of them as well as offer some stability/education. We all know how difficult finding the right kind of childcare can be. The first place I tried was a nightmare. I was definitely feeling discouraged. Then i discovered this cute little building tucked away just a few blocks from my home. I prayed this would work out and thank goodness it did! Everyone was so awesome and accommodating. The teachers are great. My son just turned 3 and they teach him age appropriate material, do tons of crafts and activities and easily keep communicate open. I trust my kids are safe here. Little Hands Academy,
We would like to sincerely thank all of of you for being so loving, kind and attentive with Jocelyn & Della.We knew this was the place we wanted them as soon as we toured with Angela. (xoxo) We got confirmation everyday that we made the right decision when we saw how Jocelyn's face would light up when she saw Miss Amanda, when she talked about her friends...esp Charlie! Della warmed up faster than we thought. She stopped giving people the stink eye and learned to dance!

Our son has been at LHA for almost a year and a half, since just after his first birthday. We were previously at a much more expensive facility and ultimately left because our knowledge about our child was undervalued. Angela has always valued our opinions about the best timeframe to transition him from one class to the next and has honored our wishes.
As a teacher, curriculum is important to me. We have been so impressed with the skills our son has learned at LHA. He comes home and points out shapes, colors, and counts. We have seen so much growth in our son that can be attributed to skills he’s learned at LHA.
Ultimately, our biggest goal in looking for care for our son is his happiness. When we wake him up in the morning and tell him it’s time to go to school, he immediately pops up. He loves cars, and his teachers go out of their way to make sure their are plenty of cars in the room and have even made roads for the kids to drive on. When he looks at pictures of his friends and teachers, his face lights up and he is so excited to tell me about them. We have found all of the staff at LHA to be extremely friendly and caring. They greet our son with a genuine happiness to see him. We could not be happier with the care our son has received here! -Sara Volk
